the walk

Well this morning we woke up to more snow. Actually we woke up a 6am (kids) to darkness when it got light an hour later we realized it had snowed. Everyone is eager to walk over and check out the cabin. See how it fared during the winter. Thanks to Shannon we have a chariot stroller to use. too far for Liam to walk. The sun started peaking through around nine and melting all the snow. Making our walk over a slippery drippy mess. But the new road sure made the first 2/3 a treat. We saw fresh wolf tracks on the trail around the cabin. The place looks great and makes me very eager to start building. Lutz flew in on the noon plane and brought the rest of our gear. he also helped me set-up our internet. Thanks. (Lutz is the owner of the rainbow house) There is more people than a I figured living here right now. Probally about 25. That should increase as the weather gets nicer. Seems people are busy working away. I look forward to touring the active logging that is going on about 7km from town.
