technical difficulties

our mobile internet stick isn't quite working yet. After hours trying different things with Lutz. and talking with Telus. They decided it was there fault (telus). Something about giving it the wrong type of phone number or ID. Anyways it will be a few days before we have it working. SO no more pictures until then. There is Internet access in the Red school house but it is dial up. It's too bad because today was barge day. Pretty exciting..most of the town turns out to watch the barge deliver all kinda's of randomness. Most importantly the old yellow truck made it barely. (stay tuned for pictures) It sure is nice too have it nearby. Now the work begins. Packing all the stuff to the buidling site.
The barge came loaded with a fuel truck, empty garbage truck (which was promptly returned full), woodmizer sawmill, pickup, flatdeck full of steel and a trailer. The ramp was pretty steep and rocky. i thought that we would have too tow my truck off. But by the time I unloaded (due to two dead batteries on other trucks) the tide had came in more and improved the angle of the ramp.
The weather has improved here..rained all night..but it is clear and somewhat sunny and slowly warming up. Rumour is that it is supposed to get better.
Liam is glad to have his yellow bike here (it was in the truck). He is getting over his sickness so he is almost back to full steam and will be ripping up Oona shortly (after naptime)
Sydney and Dad aren't doing so hot though. There is a lineup for the toilet sometimes. Poor Sydeny puked 3 times last night. Jana is having flashbacks to our episode too our last holiday. (swine flu in lethbridge)
Jana is getting ready for her big exam on wensday (hopefully internet is working) Jana's new jackets have taking the Oona River fashion scene by surprise (pink poncho or bright orange down..topped off with pink gumboots) (stay tuned for pics)

  2. Wow- sounds like the adventure continues! I can't wait to see pics of the girl in bright pink. I think she'll be shining even more when that final exam is out of the way!
I hope the toilet hugging lets up and you can enjoy the new surroundings.

  3. Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the pictures aren't loading correctly.
I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I've tried it in two different browsers and
    both show the same results.
