Well no work today. For dad that is. Mom is off studying. She had a big final exam from 2-5. Jana is famous for using all the time allotted for a test so she will be gone for sure all afternoon. Dad and Liam spent the morning messing about in Oona. Sorted out a bit of lumber too take to the cabin tomorrow. Fixed some potholes on the approach to the bridge. and played on a trampoline. We also created a new game. The rule are..he bikes around inside the gym. And dad throws basketballs at him..Trying to hit him..but not do too much damage. he loves it... The weather is lovely. Jana went for a run after lunch (part of her pre-exam routine). She studied all morning and was in fine shape..ready to slaughter the test. Sydney is doing much better..still sniffling like crazy but way more chipper..she has an appetite and a little more attitude. I think she lost a bunch of weight though.
Liam awoke from his nap to an new exiting addition to our front yard. A helicopter. Apperently Telus found it nessacary to fly during our nap time to check the phones. Liam thought it was great. Dad was scrambling to close the windows too ensure Sydney didn't wake up.
Jana returned triumphantly to an aroma not many mortals get to experience. Fresh 312lb halibut simmering in garlic and butter. The dinner prepared by her adoring husband would leave many critics speachless. After dinner the heroic chef decided to test his credentials once more. Actually when he was unloading the old yellow truck he slipped and almost dislocated his credentials. After unloading the whole pickup contents into a borrowed boat. He realized that his tarp was 6ft too short. So he had to unload and reload again. Dad is getting very tired of moving the windows around and will be very glad when they are at the cabin. Anyone want to come pack them up the beach?
