reader request

Due to an overwhelming amount of reader feedback we have decide to make some changes. Seems most readers want to see more pictures of the cabin and less of family time. Obviously cute little girls eating sand aren't important to most people. Just so happens this is the way the author feels to and was just testing the waters with some of the last posts. Now onto business.

The cabin. This morning we decide to divide out workforce. Part of the one man team was putting shakes on the roof. Got the first row and half up. That was all the shakes left over from Josh's stockpile he made last year. now I gotta go make my own. The remainder of the team. Cleaned up the jobsite..task involved..preparing the trail for the pack (when all the windows get brought in) and re-arrange the interior of the cabin. Now that all the 2x2 is gone and shakes are used up there is more room for other things. We built a work table and are getting set-up for interior work.
The only visitor was a ferocious deer. Luckily the jobsite was equipped with an emergency response plan. The entire workforce retreated to the roof top and the animal decided that the shakes the crew was dropping off the roof weren't edilble.

  1. Perhaps the author/builder could throw in a picture of the neighbouring cabin, just so I know it is still okay?

  2. One comment from Eric does not count as an "overwhelming amount of reader feedback." Keep the photos coming of the family! We only need a before and after photo of the cabin.

  4. GREAT PHOTOS OF THE CABIN, CAN WE GET SOME FRONT PROFILE SHOTS SHOWING OFF THE DORMER A BIT MORE. Also maybe a couple of this trail upgrade you speak of. Also the new road acess and the trucks parking spot would be cool too see.

Kids are cute too I guess. Lets shoot for a healthy balance.
