So nice to have the cabin clean and kid friendly. The interior is along way to being finished. But at least we can let the kids climb everywhere and play while we finish and clean this or that. The kids love being around us while we work. Liam does very well at playing alongside..but not in the way. Sydney has a tendancy too try and crawl or grab every sharp and dangerous tool. But you just have to get in the habit of putting the saws up high..and not stepping on her.
Today we were busy trying to set up our propane fridge. Had to cut a hole in the wall. So there is access to light the pilot light. Trying to figure out the best way to seal it off and make sure it is vented properly. Jana was having fun setting up the kitcken...We made two drawers...hooks for the pots and set the drain up. (a bucket under the sink) but it worked good enough to do dishes in.
Paige wants to come play too! Maybe Sydney can show her how to crawl...

ReplyDeleteYes..when we first put the hamaca up.we were swinging in it...talking about going back to mexico on a shopping trip to buy more colour for the cabin...it will be a great place to fill up with souveniers.....The anchor points for the hamock were thought of long ago...has always been a priority to have an indoor hamock spot.
