48..that's the number of boxes, packs, totes, and gas containers we had to pack to the cabin. All of them weighing an average of 40 pounds. Yes I did the math at least 2000 pounds of stuff. Quite ridiculous actually. But it is all here...only one box spilled. My prayers were answered..because we had no rain from 11-4pm. That when all the unloading, reloading, unloading, transporting and sorting happened. So glad the weather was good. Nice and calm and sunny when we got here. I take back all the comments about going to Hawaii..it is awesome here. So fresh and clean and cedar smelling. The cabin held up great. Shannon had the fire going and lasagne in our oven..mmm thank you Vanderheides! Ben sorry all I had to offer you was a juice box..after helping me pack all those boxes up the beach. The beer was tucked away in some mystery tote. I will get you later. We took all the stuff over from the main Oona dock to our beach in his big (17foot) skiff.
I know the number of boxes because I handled them alot today. 48. 48 out of the pickup....48 down the dock...48 into the boat...48 out of the boat...48 down the dock...48 into a new boat..48 out of the boat onto the beach..48 up the beach passed the high tide mark...48 into the cabin.
