So we started the day off with a boat ride. It is so nice and calm in the morning. At 7:30 am we had a loaded skiff and were put put'n around. We took plants..two pails of sand...and lunch. The sand was for the fireplace. We set the rocks in place today. First we are doing the back wall. Once they dry in a few days we will set them in place and then do the floor. The rocks from pebble beach sure are fun too work with. The kids co-operated and slept for two hours after lunch so Jana was able to have lots of fun placing them. I spent most of the day mixing cement for jana and finishing the loft floor. Now I can frame the back wall. When we came back..Liam and Dad used the skiff to tow some lumber too the dock ...while Jana made dinner. 5 more sleeps till ava and jesse come!!!

Dad and I figure the cabin looks really great, a wonderful place for a second honeymoon..seeing as you borrowed ours a few years ago... Jana do you add wiremesh to the concrete, just wondering...

yes attached wire mesh to sheets of plywood..we will see how good it works in a day or two when we lift them up.
